Most of the companies that manufacture flex belts usually prefer to sell via the accepted channels for fringe exercise equipment. They tend to advertise through infomercials and over the internet using marketing affiliates and website that are geared solely towards their products. Furthermore, they tend to sell their products exclusively to customers themselves. This has led to a more stereoscopic approach towards flex belt reviews and therefore created a drop in its demand.
Initially this stereoscopic approach only showed its advantages as all individual owners of flex belt promotion websites were only interested in getting revenue. However, with the increase in awareness of the public and the FDA approval with caution these sites started to publish manuals and guides that incorporated the device into their workout regimes. The companies producing the equipment too changed its tag line towards the obese, targeting them instead of bodybuilders. This move seemed to have worked as there is a resurgence in its demand.
