DO A FOOL

Every April Fools day weekend brings us the annual Tribe run “Do a Fool.” Do a Fool takes place over a three day weekend offering an assortment of food, fun, games and a spectacular performance by “The Tribe.”  Besides all the foolishness, DAF is a great chance to wallow in brotherhood with clubs around the state, as well as freelance leather studs.

Following the highly acclaimed “Back to the 70s” of 2006, this year brought us “The Brady’s and I,” a clash of Siam and suburban middle class USA. Despite several emergencies the guys of Tribe overcame the obstacles and gave us a hell of a show. The hall was filled with close to 175 parents, friends and brothers from (Bacchus, Icon's, Grand Rapids Rivermen, Nimbus, Wolfpack) some in their best dress uniforms.
Word on the street is that the guys from Tribe are already planning on giving us a run and show that puts all others to shame.

I enjoy acting in the DO-A-FOOL because I am a performer at heart I also enjoy being able to make people laugh.

Now what Tribe means to me.

Tribe has been around a long, long time (37yrs.) when I was just a wee lad. I won’t tell you if I was a good or bad lad. That would spoil the
mystery about me. As the Road Captain of the club, I'm glad to be apart of this club and able to bring my talents and ideas. I feel proud of the fact it is one of the oldest gay leather clubs. I want Tribe to become a view-able club to our gay community. Have it be more active in our gay community. We all know it will take a lot of work. Having the members we have, I know we will be able to make positive things happen in the years to come with Tribe.
