Are you an associate of Tribe Detroit?
If so we want to hear from you.
We are updating our records and need to have current contact information of all our active associates. Please help with this process as we care about all of our members.
General Info Regarding Associate membership:
An Associate Member is typically a member of another club, who desires to
proclaim their association with Tribe Detroit to others in the Leather Community.
Although we would prefer they apply for Full Membership first... GDIs (independents - People of the Leather Community but Not Members of a Club) may also become an Associate Member.
Associate Membership is obtained by application only (link below). Associate Members pay a one time application fee of $20.00 (as of 01-01-06) with an annual renewal of $10.00.
Associates have no voting rights and limited responsibilities to Tribe. Tribe Detroit will maintain an "Active Associates List". All associates are responsible for maintaining their "active" status with Tribe which is done by supplying Tribe with a current mailing or e-mail address at your time of renewal or earlier.
Have you noticed the jazzy new pins showing up around town and you want to get your hands on one. You can get ether the Friendship Pin or the Associate pin by checking out the membership page or by submitting yourself to a Tribe member for inspection (well, you could just ask him too.)

General Info Regarding FULL MEMBERSHIP:
A Full Member must reside in the State of Michigan ( or surrounding area )
and be available to participate in club activities, including our ANNUAL RUN.
Full membership in Tribe Detroit is obtained through application (link below)
and is only considered after an initial interview and a vote by general
membership. Upon acceptance there is a short pledge period that potential members must complete in order to become a Full Member of Tribe. After the Pledge Period (usually 3 months) the Membership Committee will review your progress and vote again before extending an offer of Full Membership to Tribe.

Our monthly meetings are scheduled for a Sunday afternoon at a members house and are always open to guests and potential applicants.
